Well I missed a week with my blog updates, but allow me to cover the last two now. Last week I got a great start on my webpage, and have actually really become interested in it. I never realized how websites were constructed, and I'm starting to think my big brother is pursuing quite a career, d0ing this for a living!
This week is devoted to putting my photoshop template into dreamweaver. This could be tricky, but I'm hoping to get good at it so I can actually get my own address and manage my website regularly. Until next time (when my project should hopefully be completed) adios!

Never really knew what a blog was, and was frankly getting a little tired of hearing about them because I always thought it was some sort of hacker jargon. Thanks to New Media 2020, however, I now know what a blog is and have one of my own. They're not so bad, or is it just that I'm becoming a hacker too? Just jokin, here's my first shot at the world of blogging!

- Commonly known as Moults, I grew up in a small town North of High River known as Calgary (you might have passed through it on your way to Balzac or Airdrie). I lived in the same house for my first 19 years, until I moved to Lethbridge for my next 4. At 22, I'm enjoying being young while I can, while still planning for the future. I find the best way to achieve this is to find a job that's a vacation in itself. Hence the reason I spend my summers in Rocky Mountain House as a member of a Wildfire Helitack Crew. When not fighting fires, we occupy our time by doing patrols in Helicopters, day-basing (I like to call it paid heli-fishing), poker, build rafts and have river races, and whatever else we can possibly think of. When I'm finally ready to grow up, I hope to get on with the Calgary Fire Department. The appeal of this career lies in the comradery, the active nature of the job, and the satisfaction of being able to make a difference. Why University then, you might ask? I originally came here to be a teacher. After trying it out and enjoying it, I decided it wasn't quite for me. Since I already had a couple years under my belt, I figured I might as well get 'er done!
